A Spanish Flamenco jazz-band, Caponata Argamacho, starts a weekend run tonight at the Warehouse Theatre, the embassy of Spain said in a statement to the local press. The jazz-band was established in 2000 as an instrumental group playing a diversity of contemporary jazz, rock and ethnic music. The ensemble is a fusion of soprano sax, viola and electric bass. “The trio compose their own music, combining their own original sound with that of other artists, giving more than fifty concerts throughout Spain. The group has also toured extensively in eastern Asia and last year recorded its first album, ‘Epitome’,” the statement said. Tickets for the show can be bought at the doors of the Warehouse.
