WINDHOEK-The first ever Miss all Regions Namibia (MRN) is to be crowned at the end of this month at the Uutapi Youth Centre in the Omusati region.
The Chairman of MRN, Success da Silva, says the event was initiated with the main aim of supporting, empowering and promoting the youth, especially women and to give them equal opportunity to interact with others from different regions as well as different cultures in Namibia. The MRN pageant also aims at promoting and developing the Namibian modelling industry by giving equal opportunities to the youth that have dreams of becoming Namibia’s next top models, as well as to put Namibia on the world map. Da Silva adds that the event will be hosted every year in different regions. “We are united Namibian youth working hard not only to build our dreams but also helping others to achieve their goals. I am therefore wholeheartedly inviting everybody to get ready for this glittery event not to be missed,” says da silva, adding that 20 finalists are ready to fight for the title of MRN this month.
“It’s for the first time MRN is being launched, it will be an annual event and I am kindly inviting all the ministries, different media companies, councils, organisations and business people for a joint venture on this amazing event,” da Silva invites. The three winners are going to represent Namibia at Miss Botswana-Namibia and Miss all Region Africa in August this year.
