The final round of the Bank Windhoek Namibia National Enduro Championship, co- sponsored by Multitrusses, Moths Transport and Prothatch, will take place this weekend at Farm Otjihokero, situated 67 km northeast of Windhoek.

As the national series is entering its last race, some championship decisions are still to be made. In the national motorbike classes, the podium places for the 2015 championship were secured by Ingo Waldschmidt (KTM, winner) and Pascal Henle (KTM, second), while Marcel Henle (KTM) has a comfortable lead in third place ahead of Jorn Greiter (KTM). With 140 championship points from seven victories this year, Henner Rusch (KTM) secured the championship title at Neu Heusis a month ago in class 2. He would remarkably complete the season unbeaten with a victory at Otjihokero. His closest follower, Kai Hennes (KTM), secured overall second place while Günter Gladis (KTM) is best positioned to clinch third overall. Sven Schneidenberger (KTM) secured the championship crown in the senior motorbike riders’ class at Neu Heusis, while Frank Ahlreip (KTM, 69 points) and Martin Diekmann (KTM, 51 points) will be fighting out second and third position at Otjihokero.

In the senior men quad category, Dimo Eloff (Honda) secured the championship with his victory at Neu Heusis. Uwe Brockmann (Honda, 77 points), is in an excellent position to clinch the second position while Lotraion van Wyk (Honda, 60 points) or Gary Rowland (Honda, 50 points) are most likely to finish third overall.

In the ladies quad class, Maike Bochert (Honda) clinched the overall championship at Neu Heusis. The race for second place in the championship is wide open as Shannon Rowland (103 points) and Claire Brendel (101 points) will provide exciting action in the grand final at Otjihokero.

The clubman’s quad class (Class 8) will also only see a championship decision at Otjihokero, as Juan Tyren (63 points) and Klossie Fourie (57 points) will battle it out. In the clubman’s motorbike class (Class 7), it is in the hands of Gunna Grasrainer (KTM, 111 points) to wrap up the championship while Nickle Visser (Husaberg, 99 points) still is in contention. The off-road bikes title (Class 10) should belong to Peter Weber (KTM, 84 points) while Kurt Hartung (KTM, 66 points) will at least finish second overall this year.

The youngsters under the age of 14 will continue to gather experience in the development class (Class 11). Championship winner Lenny Bagwitz (Yamaha) will be at the start as well as the overall second placed Keanu Weber-Trianus (KTM).
