Founder of Kasie Vibe Williebath Bomba Shigwedha is a man of many hats.
The businessman and artist released a new single titled ‘Today’ featuring Page Ethnix.
“I always had a love for music, and that’s really why I decided to drop the song. Most importantly, I want to put on musician that are not really getting that platform, and they are talented,” he said.
Shigwedha explained that his approach differs from that of mainstream artists, with a more supportive hand toward emerging talent.
“My aim was always and will always be to put on others. This album is not about me, it’s about the guys I am putting on the songs,” he said.
He told VIBEZ! that he will release a 13-track album produced by Andrew on the Beat, with all tracks featuring emerging talents.
“This music thing is a hobby, but I am going to make money from it, that’s for sure,” he noted.
Last year, Shigwedha announced his diversification into a comprehensive event management service, taking on a new challenge. By late 2025, MTC’s chief brand, marketing, communications, and sustainability officer, Tim Ekandjo, unveiled the revamped MTC Kasi Vibe Festival brand. The festival is preparing for an exciting upcoming edition, with new features to be announced later this year.
“Big things are coming this year, and I am also stepping into the role of DJ. My goal is to become the highest-paid DJ in the country by the end of year,” he revealed.
When asked why he selected Page Ethnix for his debut single, he explained to this publication that he respects the singer greatly due to his musical talent.
“Page is the most talented vocalist and rapper in the country in my books. And he means a lot to me, that’s the reason he is on the first single,” said the artist.
