Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Namibia Xin Shunkang and President Hage Geingob in a relaxed mood yesterday at State House after discussing various matters that included new bilateral cooperation proposals and ongoing bilateral cooperation projects. Ambassador Xin conveyed a birthday message to President Geingob, while President Geingob offered his and the Namibian nation’s condolences to Xin and the Chinese nation in respect of the lives lost in the recent disaster in Tianjin Province. Namibia is home to about 50 000 Chinese nationals, while about 50 Chinese companies operate in the country.
