Speaker of the National Parliament of the Federal Republic of Germany, Dr Norbert Lammert, pictured during a courtesy visit to Vice-President Nickey Iyambo at the old State House yesterday. The two leaders had a closed-door meeting afterwards. Lammert informed Vice-President Iyambo that he had a series of meetings with civil society and met members of parliament since his arrival in the country on Monday, and also attended the 25th anniversary celebration of German Reunification on Tuesday. The media were invited to a press conference slated for the Hilton Hotel today.
