Call for music submission

   Maria Haipinge

In an ongoing process to support and uplift local urban contemporary music, Urban Café Radio is calling on all upcoming and established Namibian artists to submit their music to the station.

Singles from soulful genres, such as R&B, neo-soul, hip-hop soul, jazz and other urban adult contemporary genres are welcome.

“We take note that the genre of urban contemporary music does not get the much-needed broadcast as compared to other commercial Namibian genres,” said Tafanji Nyirenda, the station’s creative and production manager.

Interested artists should send their promotional singles, a short bio or song press release, the artwork of the single submitted and the Nascam registration form to music@urbancaferadio.com.

The station is trending under #FeelGoodRadio, and it offers a diverse and soulful mix of urban contemporary music.

It is a commercial broadcaster that reflects the lives of the predominantly urban listener on 106.6FM in Windhoek and www.urbancaferadio.com.

The station also hosts a talk and specialised broadcast segments and programmes.
