Be careful what type of man you are now!

By Immanuel Namboga

He has not been so close to anyone lately, because he thought that people might not accept him for who he was. Maybe not any boy he would like to be friends with, much worse a girl to make him smile. There are plenty of them but they don’t seem so down to earth. They don’t seem so true to themselves. He is not trying to judge but, from where he came from; there are boys just like the ones he is seeing now. Boys that are scared to face reality or to admit who they are. A bunch of cowards that think their parents will erase all their problems like water from the sea that washes away the sand on its shore. Some were born with silver spoons in their mouths that they never ran out of styles. Alcohol and drugs becomes their habit and they never felt normal if they weren’t high. A bunch of blockheads who think success falls from airspace. Because he was not born with a silver spoon in his mouth, he looks back at how he has lived his life. And he noticed that what got him where he is today was not just luck, the majorities were the choices he has made. He doesn’t have everything he wants yet but he is working hard to get everything out of the economy that was meant for him, opportunities and a payoff from his hustle. Everything that he knew belonged to him that comes with blessings from the heavens. It’s not easy to be a man with strength and bravery, to admit who you are and surround yourself with positive mortals. We, the youth are the members of tomorrow’s nation and we can’t lead if we do not have acceptable morals and principals to govern our community. What kind of man are you that carry the guts to hurt a kid or a woman, or turn yourself into a wizard. It’s a man’s responsibility to protect woman. Be careful of the type of man that you have become now, because you might be that man for the rest of your life. Are you a man of self-reliance? Are you a man that strives for wealth out of honesty and share it with the needy. Or are you a man with greed and corrupt intensions in your thoughts. As a young man, you have plenty of time to choose the type of man you want to be. Henry Kravis – “If you don’t have integrity, you have nothing. You can’t buy it. You can have all the money in the world, but if you are not a moral and ethical person, you really have nothing.”

Immanuel Namboga often write scripts at home that he find useful to share with the youth. His writings is based on real life issues that teenagers go through. Love, unconditional love, hatred, envy, greed, grudges, sex ,alcohol and drugs, dreams and success ,passion killing and much more. From time to time he would be sharing his thoughts on these issues with fellow youths.
