WINDHOEK - The economic recovery and growth stimulus package announced by Finance Minister Calle Schlettwein on Tuesday during the Budget Review and the Medium-Term Budget Policy Statement, consists of four interdependent components over the short and medium-term horizon.

WINDHOEK – After a review of global, regional and domestic economic and financial developments, the Bank of Namibia’s Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) yesterday announced that the country’s repo rate will remain unchanged at 6.50 percent.

WINDHOEK – During a post-mid-term budget breakfast yesterday Finance Minister Calle Schlettwein reiterated a comment from his mid-term budget statement that Namibia still has significant discrepancies between the ‘haves’ and the ‘have nots’.
