A health team has been deployed to the Omalapapa village of the Ohangwena region, where members of the San community residing there have been battling scabies for the past two months.

Haipanda Simbungu, who on Tuesday last week turned himself in at the Ncaute police station after allegedly slaying his daughter Maria Isoni Simbungu earlier that same day, has been denied bail by the Rundu Magistrate’s Court.

The Nedbank Kapana Cook-Off 2023 competition, which was launched in May this year, will have its first preliminary round at Oshakati tomorrow when more than 150 kapana enthusiasts are expected to showcase their kapana braaiing skills.
