University of Namibia vice chancellor Kenneth Matengu has urged the regional leadership of the two Kavango regions to collaborate with the university to pursue agricultural projects. 

The Otjomuru Combined School has been renamed the Doctor Libertina Inaviposa Vihajo-Appolus combined school in honour of liberation stalwart and former Prime Minister Libertina Amathila.
