Chief administrator of the Namibia Sports Commission (NSC) Freddy Mwiya has welcomed the increased budget allocation to the commission, which will see it getting an allotment of N$17.5 million for the 2023/24 fiscal year. 

Twelve Namibian micro, small and medium enterprises will have an opportunity to showcase their products at the upcoming Creative Africa Nexus on the side-lines of the Intra-African Trade Fair in Cote d’Ivoire this November, following their success at the 2023 Technovation Social, which took place Windhoek on Friday 31 March 2023. 

Total debt as a percentage of gross domestic product (GDP) stood at 65.9% at the end of December 2022. This is 5.9 percentage points above the Southern African Development Community (SADC) benchmark of 60% of GDP.
