Are we safe and secure?

The world used to be a dangerous place. From roaming animals to unsafe food, untested products and cars without seatbelts or hardly any safety features at all. Riding motorbikes without a helmet was the most natural thing and most of us reading this can remember riding our bicycles without a helmet. You never see a kid without a helmet on a bike anymore.

Air Namibia increases domestic and regional flights

WINDHOEK - Air Namibia has confirmed schedule changes and frequency increases to a number of flights effective March 30, in an effort to improve its service offering on domestic and some regional routes. The national airline will increase capacity on routes where it often has high levels of spillage and is also introducing flights on days of  the week most suited to clients’ requirements.

Wrong career choices contribute to unemployment

WINDHOEK – The Minister of Higher Education, Training and Innovation, Dr Itah Kandji-Murangi has said the unemployment of graduates mainly is due to a wrong choice of career, adding that if guided well on careers, learners will know which fields are saturated and which fields are much sought after.

Word and action

The most important issue in a mission is this element of word and action. There are those who think that a mission is primarily about talking but if we take a look at the biblical tradition, we will see that the sharp distinction which we are inclined to draw between word and action is not in fact there anymore.
