Calamitous ceiling collapse at Country Club caused by strong winds

WINDHOEK – A disastrous ceiling collapse on Tuesday at the entrance of the Windhoek Country Club Resort and Casino (WCCR) has been attributed to strong winds. Fortunately, no staff members or guests were injured when the entire ceiling of the VIP drop-off area came loose and crashed onto the floor of the entrance at around 14h00.

Eiseb succeeds pioneering Ndjaba as NDTC’s new CEO

WINDHOEK - The Namibia Diamond Trading Company (NDTC) Board of Directors have confirmed the retirement of Shihaleni Ellis Ndjaba, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of NDTC, who retired at the end of December 2018, following 11 years of dedicated service to the company. He is succeeded by Brent Eiseb, who previously served at strategic level as Senior Manager, Sales & Marketing. Eiseb’s appointment is effective from January 01, 2019.
