Descendants of the 1904-1908 genocide in Namibia have vowed to remain united against Germany in their pursuit of reparations for the colonial-era crime as a way to honour the legacy of the late Ovaherero Paramount Chief Vekuii Rukoro.

President Hage Geingob has declared seven days of mourning for Zambia’s founding father Kenneth Kaunda who died last week at the age of 97. The seven days of mourning will end on Friday 25 June.
