ONGWEDIVA - A pensioner, who had assaulted and caused the death of his wife over a broken chair in 2018, was on Friday sentenced to 25 years imprisonment in the Oshakati High Court.

ONGWEDIVA - A 51-year-old woman was allegedly raped, assaulted and robbed after she was held at knifepoint by three unknown men on Friday at Onelago B outside Ongwediva.

A grade 8 learner from Uukumwe Secondary School in Oshivelo drowned in a river on the outskirts of the settlement where she was swimming with three friends last weekend.
