Zambezi regional governor Lawrence Sampofu said the supplementary registration of voters was well on course in the region, with no challenges experienced during the first day of the process amid the Covid-19 pandemic. 

OTJIWARONGO - The supplementary registration of voters exercise of the Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN) in the Otjozondjupa region, officially kicked off on a slow pace yesterday. 

The Okahandja Secondary School has delayed the resumption of face-to-face classes for grade 8 and 9 learners due to possible Covid-19 exposure.

KEETMANSHOOP - Around 300 unemployed residents from the Ileni and Gereres informal settlements at Keetmanshoop have to share one prepaid water point and in most cases, they do not have access to the precious resource. 

WALVIS BAY – The Walvis Bay municipality has dismissed claims that millions of dollars meant for the massive urban land servicing project has not been explained. 

The Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN) will today kick off its week-long supplementary registration of voters despite some stakeholders expressing fears due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
