Namibia Agronomic Board (NAB) has taken its former agent, the financially troubled Agro-Marketing and Trade Agency (AMTA), to court over N$15 million it allegedly illegally withdrew from the Standard Bank general levy account.

KEETMANSHOOP - Faith-based leaders in the south say they are heeding calls made by the government to curb the further spread of coronavirus. 

KEETMANSHOOP – Members from different government institutions gathered in Keetmanshoop this week to brainstorm and establish an inter-ministerial task force that can deal in a proactive manner with the current coronavirus pandemic. 

Reverend Lukas Kaluwapa Katenda, the Bishop of the Reformed Evangelical Anglican Churches of Namibia (Reach-Na), who is a registered nurse, said he is ready to offer his services as a nurse if the coronavirus pandemic worsen.

WALVIS BAY – The 210 employees of the Saga and Geysir trawlers, who were retrenched earlier this month, will receive a month and a half’s salary, severance pay of 1.5 weeks as well as a bonus of N$10 000. Saga Seafood made the announcement that the retrenched employees will also be paid two days of accrued leave per month.
