OUTAPI – Following the detection of Guinea worms in southern Angola the World Health Organization (WHO) is in the Omusati Region to sensitise the community and detect, if any, unnoticed Guinea worm cases.

WINDHOEK –Serious concern was raised about the apparent lack of vaccination programmes followed by poultry producers during the first management meeting of the Poultry Producers Association (PPA) in Windhoek last week.

Mosquitoes and related insects can carry a range of disease-causing pathogens that affect farm animals. During the wet season, mosquitoes serve as the primary source of infection on various farm animals including poultry birds
