WINDHOEK – A man who was pin-pointed out by his co-accused for having murdered Alex Maluli Mushe on April, 2017 wants to be released on bail.

WINDHOEK - Acting Windhoek High Court judge, Ileni Velikoshi, last Thursday denied 66-year-old farmer, Willem Visagie Barnard, bail pending the finalisation of his appeal hearing on a conviction of murder and 10 year sentence for killing his wife at their farm in the Mariental district.

WINDHOEK - A Swakopmund resident accused of raping a 14-year-old and another woman in the spate of five days after being released on bail on a previous rape charge, claimed his alleged victims consented.

WINDHOEK - The World Health Organisation (WHO) has since the outbreak of Hepatitis E committed N$3 million to support the Ministry of Health and Social Services (MOHSS) to intensify efforts in the response against the disease.
