WINDHOEK - After the tremendous success of the 2018 Start-Up Festival in Windhoek, the Gobabis Municipality in cooperation with the Financial Literacy Initiative hosted a Micro Business Start-up Festival in Gobabis this past weekend (24 November 2018) in the Freedom Square Informal Settlement.

Twenty six years back I attended a Commonwealth Study Conference hosted by the Duke of Edinburg in Oxford, England.
The conference pulled together representatives of all Commonwealth member countries to deliberate on how best to make the world a better place for all to live in.  The conference broke up in groups and I joined the group that visited Northern Ireland, the contested country, also known as Ulster by sections of the Irish community that forms that society. 

The people of Namibia and China have one thing in common; their welcoming nature. 
Safe to say, since our arrival in China, we have felt right at home.

KATIMA MULILO - The Ministry of Poverty Eradication and Social Welfare will soon introduce the food bank initiative in Katima Mulilo in the Zambezi Region and to fulfil this undertaking it last week trained nine members of the street committee who will distribute food.

KATIMA MULILO  - State witnesses expected to testify in the case of alleged corruption of the CEO of the Katima Mulilo Town Council, Raphael Liswaniso, are unhappy that the CEO was recently allowed to return to work after his bail conditions which prevented him from going near the council premises were relaxed by the Katima Mulilo Magistrate’s Court.
