NWR continues to support local talent with Matongo Family challenge

WINDHOEK - The #letsgotoNWR challenge with the Matongo Family received an overwhelming response from the public with a combined 14 782 views by close of competition last week Friday. Since the initiative was launched at the beginning of September, the innovative challenge encouraged the public to create a new dance to the Matongo Family’s new single titled ‘Let’s Go’ featuring Maszanga.

Ongombo West: Farmworkers who failed as farmers

WINDHOEK - Normally when one visits a farm, they expect a welcoming farming environment that consists of the bleating of goats, the mooing of cattle, bawling, not to mention the cackle of chickens. Alas, that is not the greeting one got at Ongombo West. Especially on the section of the farm allocated to the former farm employees, who did so well as farmworkers but apparently have failed to prosper as farm owners.

NAC wants court to nullify Ondangwa Airport tender

WINDHOEK – Namibia Airports Company (NAC) through its new Board of Directors is asking the Windhoek High Court to review and set aside a decision and resolution taken by the previous board of the embattled public company to award a tender to China State Construction Engineering Company (CSCES) to be appointed as the contractor for the Ondangwa Airport Runway Rehabilitation Project.
