Namibia held its historic 2nd national land conference from the 1st to the 5th of October 2018 at a local hotel in Windhoek. This national land conference was initially supposed to be held in 2017 but due to certain reasons was eventually postponed to 2018 and as they say, the rest is history.  

It is with great sadness that we at the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology have learnt of the passing away of one of the few amongst us, a professional, committed, a highly objective media practitioner, who was our media colleague of many, moons.

It is not that emotions have no place in the workplace, or maybe not at all? Maybe when we weight them but emotions are emotions, or are they different? KATIMA MULILO - A 15-year-old boy appeared in the Katima Mulilo Magistrate’s Court yesterday for allegedly molesting a six-year-old girl on Tuesday afternoon. 

RUNDU - The former mayor of Rundu, Hilka Leevi who died on 28 September will be accorded a ‘war veterans funeral’ through the department of veterans’ affairs under the Office of the Vice President which means Veterans Affairs will assist the family with a coffin and a tombstone for the late.

WINDHOEK- President Hage Geingob gave a directive to Cabinet on Wednesday to convert the dwelling of the pioneer UN petitioner the late Chief Hosea Kutako in Aminius in Omaheke Region to be converted into a national heritage site.
