WINDHOEK - Arrangements for Cycle Classic, the country’s largest sporting event in terms of entrants are well on track.
The two-day gathering gets underway on the 13th of next month in Windhoek, comprising of three cycling races and two running events.

Karatekas win medals at continental championships
WINDHOEK - The Namibian karate team ended 9th overall at the just ended African championships in Kigali, Rwanda, over the weekend. Namibia claimed various medals at the highly competitive continental championships courtesy of Myvoone Swaart (1x silver, 2x bronze), Freddy Mwiya Jr (bronze), Michelle Tjimuku (bronze) and Rassie Esterhuizen (bronze).

EAN’s annual economic conference to focus on inequality
WINDHOEK - The Economic Association of Namibia (EAN), in collaboration with the Hans Seidel Foundation and The Namibian newspaper, will be hosting its annual economic conference, under the theme of ‘Inequality’ on September 5, 2018 at the Safari Hotel. Namfisa deals with budget shortfall, utilises meagre resources prudently
