With social and political change that came with independence came a search, a search for the best possible way to implement that change and to develop the full potential of the various countries in Africa. 

The impact of violence on women is catastrophic and has devasting long-lasting effects on their physical and mental health.

In recent years, there has been a steady increase in the number of men who end their lives prematurely through suicide. Research shows that while women tend to experience more suicidal thoughts, men are far more likely to die by suicide. 

As the 74th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China looms, it is important to review and put into perspective, China’s role in Africa, which has been making rounds for different reasons and how the Africa young men and women, can benefit from relations.  

Green hydrogen production is now a big issue in Africa. Several countries are investing much time and effort to get it underway. Our politicians have termed it the “new gold” that would lift our citizens out of poverty. 

In Namibia, agriculture is one of the most important sectors. Around 70% of the country’s population depends directly or indirectly on agriculture for their income and livelihood – mostly in the subsistence sector. 

Agriculture remains a vital aspect that continues to provide a sustainable livelihood for billions of people worldwide. 

In Namibia, like many African countries, the prioritisation of expanding town boundaries takes precedence over our imperative to preserve rural homes and uphold the social connections cultivated over decades. 

On the 26 August 2023, I drove to Okalumbu village in Onyaanya constituency. My vehicle got stuck twice in the white sand after being warned not to come with a small vehicle.  

The time has come and the 2023 Population and Housing census enumeration has officially begun.
