Ndafoluma to face Tanzania’s Mwankemwa… Kakololo to rumble in SA next month

Former World Boxing Organisation (WBO) Africa middleweight world champion, Lukas “The Demolisher” Ndafoluma yesterday promised to put up a great show when he takes on Tanzanian opponent Meshack Mwankemwa for the WBO Africa middleweight title in April, while his compatriot Nathie Kakololo will soon embark on a grand mission when he confronts South Africa’s Lerato Dlamini.

Swimmers break six records at Long Course Gala

The first instalment of the 2020 Bank Windhoek Long Course Gala, the third for the season, took place this past weekend at the Olympia Municipal Pool in Windhoek. Despite a month-long break, swimmers put in great performances and broke six individual records; one from the women’s and five from the men’s events.

Gowaseb targets glory at Outeniqua Challenge

One of Namibia’s most promising Paralympics wheelchair cyclists, Roodley Gowaseb, who is set to compete in the Outeniqua Wheelchair Challenge in South Africa on the 23th of this month, says his target at the coming competition is to qualify for the Virgin London Marathon Games slated for later this year in the UK.
