WINDHOEK – Local telecommunications giant MTC, in collaboration with Athletics Namibia (AN), yesterday officially launched the 8th edition of the Dr Sam Nujoma Half Marathon – one of Namibia’s most sought-after race on the country’s athletics calendar.

WINDHOEK - The World Health Organization (WHO) in Namibia launched its upcoming Walk/Run Race for Health, slated for the Daan Viljoen police checkpoint, tomorrow morning.

WINDHOEK – The 18th edition of the Omaruru Spar Cycle Challenge – one of the country’s leading cycling competitions – was officially launched in the capital yesterday. As is customary, the race is slated for the town of Omaruru this weekend and according to chief organiser of the event Berthold Karumendu, a much bigger and better event is expected.

WINDHOEK – The Fifa Normalisation Committee for the Namibia Football Association (NFA) has ordered the Namibia Premier League (NPL) to reinstate demoted Gobabis-based club Young African back into the league until the NFA Appeals Committee has pronounced itself on the club’s future.
