It’s that time of the year again, possibly the most romantic time of a year – 14 February is just around the corner and based on what has been observed so far, couples could not be more excited as Valentine’s Day draws closer.

Many times, you will attend a conference that will leave you feeling inspired.

OUTAPI – Being a young entrepreneur is not easy, according to Modric Shikalepo, a 29-year-old braai stand maker who saw the need to make user-friendly stands for the braai lovers out there.

Namibia’s national power utility company NamPower recently held a trainee graduation ceremony to award deserving artisans and electricians.

The president of the Namibian National Student Organisation (Nanso), Simon Taapopi, said the association has to date assisted more than 7 000 students from the higher education sector as part of the Access to Education Campaign.

In high school and many other sectors of life, the general expectation is that whoever serves on the Learner Representative Council (LRC) would serve their year and pass on the baton to a younger student to be elected the following year.

I don’t want to please everyone, but I also don’t want to see anyone sad.

The year has officially kicked off and it is so refreshing to have a whole new start. I know they say New Year’s resolutions are such clichés, but I think something is liberating about new beginnings.
