WINDHOEK – Over 90 schools in the Khomas Region, both the private and state, have been reached to promote uptake and access to voluntary medical male circumcision (VMMC) services for learners. 

WINDHOEK- Operation Sida Di/Goan which aims to epitomise the dedication and commitment of the Kunene Region by painting the picture of a people willing to stand together to overcome the challenges in the region and country was launched in Kamanjab, last Friday.

WINDHOEK – Auguste Shikongo is a young Namibian PhD candidate who wants to take her studies further and specialise in social work. “I see the way I grew up and I want to bring some changes to those people,” she said. 
“I have family members who are struggling and live in informal settlements,” she pointed out. 

Make sure your child goes to school each day ready to learn by ensuring they have a healthy and nutritious breakfast. Starting the day with a good breakfast which is low in added sugar can improve your child’s focus, memory, and concentration. 

WINDHOEK – The Youth Corner this week spoke to learners from schools in Windhoek on their sentiments about going back to school.

WINDHOEK – The second term for the 2019 school calendar started on Monday with those at the helm of education urging parents to be involved in the education of their children for better results towards the end of the year. 

Last month the Finance Minister announced the national budget and a few weeks later, the President gave his state of the nation speech. The common denominator was that they were all centered around the youth.

We live in a time where we tend to need instant gain. We want to go to the gym for two days and stand on the scale looking for results. We want to start the job today and look for growth within three months.
