WINDHOEK- Being a Mandela Washington Fellowship alumnus for the 2016 academic year, Alphons Koruhama had the passion for solving community issues. 

A 23-year-old teacher will publish her first book entitled ‘True repentance  – eight years of false profession’ on a yet to be announced date. 

WINDHOEK – The African Youth and Adolescent Network (AFRIYAN) has started a campaign to collect sanitary pads for vulnerable young girls across the country. 

WINDHOEK- Driven by his passion to make a meaningful contribution to society through education, a 25-year old Windhoek based teacher has officially launched an adult literacy centre in the Goreangab informal settlement.

The world is tough and mean. In a sense it is actually cutthroat, everybody is trying to reach the top or become the best and many will do anything in their power to overcome obstacles in their way, even if those obstacles are fellow people.

There is an ingrained need to know, that is dominant in human beings. Psychologically, we have a need to understand and make sense of our surroundings and everyday life.

WINDHOEK –   A visually impaired graduate who specialised in retail marketing management is of the view that people living with disabilities are still considered with much doubt when seeking employment even if they were accorded the same opportunities and training as anyone else.

WINDHOEK – A local clothing brand ‘Dream Chasing’ has embarked on a fundraising project aimed at donating sanitary towels to young women.  

WINDHOEK – ZZI (short for Zoe and Zera Ikosa) Kids Hair Studio has partnered with Namibian children author Helvi Itenge to promote a reading culture among children while doing their hair.
