Responsibility… Children at the Omatako Primary School in the Tsumkwe constituency help keep their school clean. The Day of the Namibian Child is today commemorated under the theme ‘30 Years After the Adoption of the Charter: Accelerate the Implementation of Agenda 2040 for an Africa fit for children’. Namibia adopted the goals of the African Charter on the rights and welfare of the child through the enactment of the Child Care and Protection Act. By nurturing and nourishing its children, the present generation of Africans should promote the growth of the continent and secure its future.
