WINDHOEK– Franck stones Entertainment will host the Southern African Development Community (SADC) music festival at the end of this month
The festival will feature artists from an array of African countries such as the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), South Africa, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana and Namibia. According to event organiser, Francisco Kassongo, the festival aims to bring different cultures from different countries together, create a good musical relationship between countries and share experiences. “This is a festival that is going to close the year with different people from different cultures. It’s going to be something new, musicians be connected and joined together by our love of music,” says Kassongo.
A number of high-profile celebrities will take part in the festival including prominent singers and pop-stars in SADC including our own artist such as Lady May and others. “This event will be much larger and it requires a lot of support. To all music supporters out there, you do not want to miss this, so budget for this show because it is going to be something you’ve never seen before,” he cajoles.
The festival will take place at the Independence Arena in Windhoek (November 30), in Oshakati (December 6), Rundu (December 7) and in Katima Mulilo (November 14). For more information contact Francisco Kassongo at 0812554675.
