By Kuvee Kangueehi WINDHOEK Asec Mimosas FC arrived yesterday at the Hosea Kutako International Airport for the second leg match of the CAF Champions League against Civics FC on Sunday. The Ivorian champions, who are enjoying a three-goal advantage from the first leg, are expected to do some light training today and tomorrow before their crucial tie on Sunday at the Independence Stadium. The match is scheduled to kick off at 16h00. The match on Sunday will definitely be an uphill battle for the Bethlehem Boys and the club director Helmut Sharnowski is fully aware of the task. Speaking to New Era yesterday, Sharnowski said the preparations are going well and that the team is going for attacking play from the first whistle. ” The game plan is very simple for us, attack and attack.” He added that his team has nothing to lose and their football will only be moving in one direction which is forward. Civics FC will miss the services of their attacking midfielder Congo Hindjou who is serving a suspension after receiving four yellow cards. The suspension is a major blow for the Namibian champions and only Sunday afternoon will determine how costly Hindjou’s suspension will be. The current log leaders are also sweating over the fitness of the in-form Brian Brendell who suffered a shoulder injury in the midweek game against Cymot SKW.
