Theophelus Mvula has been promoted to national sales manager in FNB Namibia’s home loans department. The position comes with great responsibility, as he will be tasked with streamlining the countrywide home loan credit function. Mvula has been with FNB Namibia since 2008 and has been running the Windhoek Home Loan credit department for the past seven years. “My new position will have the same role, but I’ll now have an expanded area of jurisdiction. I’m now tasked with streamlining the home loan credit faction nationwide”, Mvula said. He said short-term goals include assembling an effective credit team and completing his MBA degree next year, while in the long-term he is looking at streamlining the credit and workflow processes, ensuring proper systems are in place to provide the shortest possible credit approval turnaround time and furthering his career aspirations within FNB. Mvula is a banker by profession and holds a B Comm (Hons) CAIB (SA). “I will continue to live by the 3-D philosophy of being: Disciplined, Determined and Dedicated,” he said.
