Coca-Cola Beverages Africa in Namibia has honoured 129 long-serving employees at its 2026 Long Service Awards, marking the highest number of staff recognised since 2022.
The awards celebrate workers who have dedicated years of service to the company, ranging from five to 35 years. A highlight of the event was the recognition of 11 employees who have served the company for between 15 and 30 years.
Most of the honourees were in the 15-year category, making up 67% of all recipients. This was followed by employees with 10 years of service, who accounted for 19%.
Speaking at the event, Public Affairs, Communication and Sustainability Director Ockert Jansen said the awards show the strength of the company’s workforce.
“This event is not only about recognising individuals, but also celebrating a strong and capable team that supports the company’s growth,” he said.
Jansen added that Coca-Cola continues to invest in skills development to ensure it builds a strong pipeline of talent for the future.
“We believe it starts with developing and keeping the talent, we already have, while improving our performance culture,” he said.
People and Culture Director Grazia van Rooi said the company is committed to helping employees grow.
“We provide opportunities for learning, personal growth and career development,” she said.
Since 2022, the company has consistently recognised a high number of long-serving employees, showing strong staff retention in Namibia.
