Home Time Out Comedy proves to be the best University

WINDHOEK– It turns out that the best lectures are at ‘University of Comedy’, because all you need to qualify is to laugh out loud.  And this  is exactly what happened when FreeYourMind hosted another successful one person show at the Warehouse Theatre last Thursday.

Themed ‘University of Comedy,’ Courage was the lecturer who gave lectures on the history of his academic life.  And according to Chiro who opened the stage for Courage, the lecturer apparently has no degree nor a driver’s license but yet owns a car.  The night got more existing when Courage took charge lecturing  the audience. He started with wishing he was a Unam lecturer, because then he would not have to carry his own books as always there will be that beautiful girl failing her test and will have to carry his books  to get those two points.

He further took the audience down memory lane to when he was in Pre-school, upper primary school, his first crush that made him do the don’t and his best being his first fight, which he lost and the loss which he will never admit to, all that to impress a girl. Courage relives the audience into his childhood memory, which makes his lecture fun, another reason to sit still and listen to every single word he says. Namibia’s last year Big Brother Africa (BBA) winner, Dillish, was one of the subjects of his comedic pranks with Courage saying she won Nigerians were pissed, asking  “how did a half Namibia half Brazilian win the African competition?”  This is in reference to the long Brazilian hair that she always put on. He concluded the show by saying the big Brother Hotshots which was supposed to kick off last Sunday was reduced into Big Brother “Hot Ashes”, after the BBA house was engulfed in firewater.

And that was the end of the lecture, and first year too, all the audience qualifying for second year, no test or examination, and that is the  reason why University of Comedy is fun and the best.
