THE Khomas Netball Super 10 league delivered thrilling matches over the weekend at the Wanderers Netball Courts in Windhoek, showcasing the talent and competitive spirit of participating teams.
In the opening match, Namibia Correctional Service (NCS) (S1) emerged victorious with a commanding 47-30 win over Wanderers (S1). Despite Wanderers’ strong performance, NCS displayed superior teamwork and skill to secure the victory.
In the second match, Tigers demonstrating their prowess on the court and triumphed over Namibia Defence Force Windhoek with a scoreline of 40-28.
Khomas Nampol (S1) continued the trend of impressive performances by defeating Trustco United 45-31 in the third match of the day.
NCS (S1) maintained their dominance in their second match, overpowering Tigers with a convincing 57-23 victory.
In a closely contested encounter, Go Monate Fella (S1) edged past Trustco United (S1) with a narrow 31-29 win in the fourth match of the competition. However, the match between Nust and NDF Windhoek was postponed due to rain disrupting proceedings.
The public relations officer of the Khomas Netball Super 10, Kelau Mbeeli, commended the teams for their dedication to preparation and noted the outstanding performances of NSC, Wanderers, and Trustco United.
She emphasized the competitiveness of the tournament, highlighting that any team has the potential to emerge victorious.
