WINDHOEK– Love is Charity brings you tomorrow morning at Tornadoes in Wernil, and at Stuttafords in Maerua Mall, a ‘Dance for Charity’, a fund raising event where competitive dancers are given the opportunity to share their passion by dancing for the good of others.
The dance off features the Zumba Dance team, an internationally recognised fitness team. The dance instructors will lead the team for four hours and the last man standing will walk away with a cash prize. Love is Charity is an initiative aimed at raising funds for identified charity organisations, and which aims to help create awareness about the plight and also good work of the organisations and thereby helping them to attract donors in the future. Funds will be raised through an entrance fee, with all profits towards local charities, including Aunty Alice Kitchen, Let the children come to me, Mamakhai Nancara OVC Support Organisation and the S.O.S out-reach programme.
Donations are however welcome on the day and all collected donations will be for the sole benefit of the identified charity organisations. Entrance is N$50 in advance and N$70 at the door. For more information contact 0817509020 or 0812332331.
