Meeting the people… The Development Bank of Namibia (DBN) visited Gobabis in the Omaheke Region to meet prospective clients and entrepreneurs in the region yesterday. DBN’s Communication Manager, Jerome Mutumba, said they recognise that Gobabis is a key location and a vital link in Namibia’s transport and logistics sector, and is eyeing the agri-processing and various SMEs that can create employment in the region. DBN’s visit to Gobabis was “to stimulate enterprise with an information session for prospective clients and stakeholders such as local authorities and entities engaged the field of development,” Mutumba said of yesterday’s visit that was led by the CEO Martin Inkumbi. DBN has financed a number of projects in Omaheke and sees additional development potential.
