WINDHOEK- South African Djs brought down the house with Dj Zinhle emerging far most the favourite on the day during the Southern Times newspaper Summer House Festival to celebrate its tenth anniversary last Saturday.
Dj Zinhle magnificently rocked the house sweeping fans and music lovers alike along with her while her counterpart, Dj Cndo, seemed to keep her style in check. These ladies were enormous and the master piece of the event. But Dj Kent and Dj Clock did not disappoint either keeping revellers singing all night making the party out of this world beyond the expectation of many, especially this writer. From the massive response of the Namibian revellers it was obvious that House has taken root in Namibia with everyone coming forward on the dancing floor with her/his best dancing moves. Dj Kent could also easily have ran away with the crown of best Dj on the night having people dancing nonstop for a greater part of the night.
The summer party that was held at the Windhoek Show Grounds and despite the South African Djs, revellers also got to savour the d-jaying geniuses of local Djs like Dj-kfc, Dj Cellos Deep and Dj Ambizzy. Having the responsibility of warming up the stage for their presumably more renowned and professional counterparts from South Africa, not only did they equip themselves best to this task but showed that they are equal to them. Marvellous they also enticed and lured the people onto the dancing floor. Surely this was a show not to miss and thumbs up for Southern Times!
