WINDHOEK- Live performer, Dollar Yves Idinu, or just Dollar, a Namibian-based Congolese musician, has announced his massive comeback with great hit songs featuring three top South African (SA) singers. 

Dollar has brought his fiery rhythm to local doorsteps numerous times since 2011 and has been quiet for the past two years. He recently travelled to SA to collaborate with various artists saying he managed to work with Dj Zinhlé, Bussie and Kwesta on some of his two songs to be part of his upcoming album launching in the capital this October. “One of the songs, Winner features Dj Zinhlé, while Five Minutes features both Bussie and Kwesta,” says Dolar. He adds that he is feeling great and excited, as SA music, industry is the biggest with big musical market compared to the local industry. This means his music will penetrate international market better.  “Talent and good work will make people believe and work with you,” says Dollar. 

He just registered as a member of the Southern African Music Rights Organisation (SAMRO), and fans can expect him to perform at various southern African musical festival.  “With my strong managing team, I have been getting a lot of connections when it comes to my music, and I can say I am taking it to the next level,” says Dollar adding that he is now busy recording his new album, and waiting to work with more big fish in the industry. He says his two songs will be played on Trace TV, Mtv Base, Channel O and other televisions once they are officially out.  He also worked with Namibian artists such as Lize Ehlers, Freeda and Dice.

Dollar who uses a medley of rhumba and Congolese beats blend together to create an irresistible ambience of dance and festivity.  His producer is Danny Azangi of Master-Mix from Namibia.
