WINDHOEK
Tomorrow marks the highlight of the official events lined up since March this year to commemorate 100 years of existence of Etosha National Park.
Etosha, which locally means land of the white plains, was gazetted a national park in 1907. Together with a section of the Namib Naukluft Park, it turned 100 years in March.
From that time to date, Etosha has not only grown in size but also in its role.
The park now acts as a donor of live game to conservancies and other game parks where game numbers are low.
