Namibian professional boxer Walter “the Executioner” Kautondokwa takes a giant leap in his illustrious boxing career when he steps into the boxing ring in the “No Mercy Part 5” boxing bonanza for his first bite at an international title, on the 6th of next month.
The Executioner, also known as the “Knockout Specialist” amongst boxing experts, boasts an impressive resume of victories with 10 bouts finishing within the distance – certainly a feat.
Kautondokwa is billed to confront one of either Walter Dlamini or Welcome Ntshingila, both from South Africa for the vacant WBO Africa middleweight title.
“The Executioner is clearly one of our upcoming prospects and an important talent in our pipeline. We have groomed him all these years and believe he is now ready to step up to the bigger stage – the timing of this title fight is likely to get him into the WBO middleweight world ratings.
“I’m well aware this bout will be a big test of character for him, but I am also confident he has gained the necessary confidence, skill and ability to operate at this level,” charged his handler Nestor “Sunshine” Tobias.
Kautondokwa is the incumbent national middleweight champion.
The bout is slated for the spacious Windhoek Country Club that would see former Namibian world champion Paulus “The Hitman” Moses headline the main bout against South African opponent Thompson Mokwena.
Tickets are on sale for N$300 while VVIP tables for 10 go for N$10 000. Seats are limited. Please book your tickets at Computicket, Boxing Control Board or MTC Nestor Sunshine Boxing Academy.
