Art Gallery: Marianne Woller: The artist, Marianne Woller, in collaboration with Bank Windhoek Arts Festival, will exhibit oil paintings called “Opening Space” in the Upper Gallery at NAGN and is still on display. Bank Windhoek also sponsored the printing costs for this exhibition. Torture Awareness Day:ÃÆ’Æ‘ÀÃ…ÃÆ”šÃ‚  This exhibition called “Never Again” will be promoted through the Ombudsman’s schedule for the 16 days of activism and human rights week, which will be printed and distributed to the public and to relevant organizations. This exhibition is still on display in the Lower Gallery of NAGN. We would like to thank Franco Namibian Cultural Centre and UNAM Visual Art Department for contributing towards making this exhibition possible. Shiya Karuseb: This exhibition entitled “Journey of the Shepherd” presents an exhibition on paintings, drawings and sculptures which will run until the 18th January, 2007 in the Main Gallery of NAGN. This is also a Bank Windhoek-sponsored exhibition. FNCC: Denys Dingalo has already participated in several art workshops and exhibitions, such as “the End-of-Year Students Exhibition” (2002-2005) or “the Black African-American Exhibition” (2004) at the National Art Gallery. For the first time, the Namibian artist will be presenting his work: portraits, sculptures, paintings, etc. through a solo exhibition at the CafÃÆ’Æ‘Æ‘ÃÆ”šÃ‚© des Arts from Monday 22 January to Friday 9 February, 2007.
