The refurbishment of Ondangwa Airport is nearing completion. Once completed the new airport terminal would feature services and amenities that were previously not available. The new terminal would have space for car rental operators, retail concessionaires, financial institutions and government agencies. It would also offer mixed retail offerings, which include a restaurant, bistro, café, massage services, forex, accessorises, curio shops. Ondangwa Airport Manager Erastus Shoombe says, “We are looking forward to more services being introduced such as mobile telecommunication services and Wi-Fi service. Other developments such as hotel and more commercial developments are also in the pipeline.”
