WINDHOEK– The 2014 fashion year started on a high note with fashion show by young designer, McBright Kavari, in collaboration with Denise Der-Armeida, a fashion designer from Angola at the Protea Hotel.
Both designers showcased collections of African attires collections and as always McBright had a few surprises for the guests with his collections for men speaking louder than him. The crowd tried so hard to keep quiet when a male model entreated the stage in McBright’s collection. “I did this collection with all my heart and I dedicate most of my time to it, and I am glad my clients like them,” says McBright.
The 20- years-old designer just got the way of conversing those that love fashion but just through his work. Some did not even let him take some of the collections back home. “Nowadays in the world of fashion, if you do not have anything done by McBright than you are not alive, I drove all the way from Gobabis for this fashion show and to order my two dresses because I want to be alive,” Tina Kakuritjire excited.
Denise’s African attires equally blew the crowd away leaving many speechless with her evening gowns something to look at. “Fashion designers do not talk much, they produce, I am a woman of action and my gowns explain that better than me for her,” she affirms confidently.
