Flying V search for first Futsal win

The second round of the NDTC Futsal league takes centre-stage this weekend, with several exciting matches lined up for tomorrow.

Flying V, who are still searching for their first win this season after 13 losses and one draw, will be hoping the second round offers them that opportunity. They will face another struggling team, The Mavericks, at the Windhoek Showground at 17h00. Futsal Namibia media manager Greyeno Rusberg yesterday said fans can anticipate top-quality futsal action.

“I think fans can expect exciting action over the weekend. Every game is important for every team, so the competition is expected to intensify. The teams at the bottom will be aiming to collect points to climb up the standings,” he said.

He also outlined some of the most crucial fixtures for tomorrow: “Boston Madrid takes on WHK Futsal in the 15h00 kick-off, INEOS FC take on log leaders Chile FC at 18h00, with EFG Patriots FC playing JAC FC in the following match.”

In other fixtures tomorrow, X-Men, in seventh position, will face Seven Kings, who are 12th, at 14h00. This will be followed by a match between third-placed Windhoek Futsal against Boston Madrid at 15h00.

At 16h00, WIAS FC will be looking to grab the points when they play Demia FC, while league leaders and champions Chile will face INEOS at 17h00.

JAC FC will take to the court at 18h00 against Patriots, and Ragazzi FC will clash with Quality FC in the final match of the day.
