The FNB Foundation last Wednesday announced that it will help the Cancer Club of the Windhoek Central Hospital with assistance worth N$150 000. This will cover supplements, medical kits for cancer sufferers as well as a laptop and printer for capturing data with the aim of improving efficiencies at the hospital. The chairperson of the FNB Foundation, Jane Katjavivi, said the foundation has “moved away from ad hoc donations towards supporting projects that deal with education, the environment, heritage and culture, skills development and community development to improve the lives of communities”.
