Four teams secure promotion to netball league

After a weekend of intense netball action at the Khomasdal Netball Courts, Afrocat Lions, UNAM Jaguars, Extreme and Cuca Tops have officially earned their places in the MTC Netball Namibia Premier League. The playoffs, which featured fierce competition and high stakes, concluded with these four teams proving their dominance and securing promotion to Namibia’s top-tier netball league.

Netball Namibia’s secretary general Sofia Simon expressed satisfaction with how the playoffs unfolded. She congratulated the newly-promoted teams, and encouraged them to remain focused as they prepare for the challenges of competing at the highest level.

“The playoffs showcased incredible talent and determination from all participating teams. I urge the promoted teams to work hard, stay disciplined and maintain the competitive spirit as they join the premier league,” Simon stated.
