WINDHOEK-Frieda Haindaka, now with a brand new stage name, Freeda, has once again reached another milestone when she took a new path as a solo artist.

Freeda, previously with Gal level with sister, Daphne, went solo some few months ago and has finally come out of the winter hibernation with a great offering to her fans. She recently released her much anticipated solo debut album titled Just Freeda. The sensational singer says the 18- track album, which took her about five months to complete, comes as a symbol of turning over a new leaf  thereby starting not only a whole new chapter but a whole new tale of her solo music career. She says she titled the album Just Freeda emphasise that she is now a solo artist and not part of Gal level anymore.

Her masterpiece album has attracted some of big names such as Gazza, Exit, D-Naff and Shyman Shaizo, a Zambian singer. With her experience and talent, fans can expect nothing less as she delivers in bucket loads that oozing with quality and creativity.

 

Her single, This Whole Love Thing has been making its mark on all the radio stations and it has been requested a lot by listeners.  All the songs on the album were mixed and mastered by M-Jay of Deal Done Records except track 2, 7 and 17 that was done by Arrafat and track 14 by Harti Studio.

The opening track on the album Moonlight, with its great melodies and well mixed come out as a classic song. Track 7 on the album Boom Boom featuring Dice is one of the as seen during her recent her performance at a  fashion show hosted by Hem Matsi. This album will turn out to be a public favourite especially when one pays attention to the songs and lyrics. Songs such as Tonight featuring Gazza, Vudu featuring Maszanga and If You Love featuring Exit are the best taste of the table.
